Horticultural Marquee

The Sutton Bonington Horticultural Autumn Show was the origin of the whole event you visit today. Last years event had an amazing number of entries, over 800. The Horticultural Society will be hoping for as good a turn or may be even better.

This year the Society has added new classes including several fun classes to encourage new entries.

A display by Hollands Nurseries with plants for sale can also be found here. Plants can be collected at the end of the day.

Fur and Feather Marquee

The Poultry and rabbit show has been popular for many years. The show contains many classes of hens and rabbits from the local area. Also there will be a competition for the best six eggs. A new attraction for this year is a demonstration of how to prepare poultry for showing by a local award winning exhibitor. Also we will be hoping that we have timed the hatching of chicks to perfection so hatching will be taking place during the show.

The fur and Feather schedule can be downloaded here

Village/Food Marquee

The marquee has a selection of quality food and trade stalls together with displays by local organisations from Sutton Bonington and surrounding villages. Charities supported by the Show also have displays to show how the money raised is spent.
